Design · Installation · Maintenance · Supply

Living wall installation, London and UK wide.

Living wall services under one accountable team.

Four services under one accountable team: bespoke living wall design, installation, planned maintenance, and system supply to the trade. Twenty years of vertical greening, delivered from our studio in south London.

01 — What we deliver

Everything a living wall needs, from first sketch to year ten.

Living wall design & consultation

We start with the building. Structural interface, weight loading, water supply, drainage, light levels and access all shape the system before a single plant is chosen. You receive a planting palette, irrigation strategy, sections and setting-out drawings your architect or main contractor can build to, plus a realistic budget and programme.

Enquire
  • Feasibility and site survey
  • Structural and interface detailing
  • Irrigation and drainage strategy
  • Planting palettes by aspect
  • Drawings and specifications
  • Budget and programme

Living wall installation in London & the UK

Our own teams install the frame, irrigation and planting. We work to your programme and sequence around scaffold, façade completion, M&E and handover, so the wall arrives at full density rather than growing in after the client has moved in. Pre-grown planting means the wall reads as finished on day one.

Enquire
  • Directly employed install teams
  • Pre-grown planting to full density
  • Irrigation commissioning and testing
  • Sequenced around site programme
  • Access, IPAF and RAMS handled
  • Handover pack and training

Living wall maintenance

A living wall is a planted system, not a product. Our maintenance contracts cover irrigation servicing, feeding, pruning, seasonal replanting and reporting, with remote monitoring on systems that support it, so problems are found before they show on the wall.

Enquire
  • Monthly interior visits
  • Four to eight exterior visits a year
  • Irrigation service and leak checks
  • Feeding and seasonal pruning
  • Replanting to keep density even
  • Condition reports for managing agents

02 — How we work

A process built around your programme.

01

Enquiry & site review

Send drawings, a photograph or a rough size. We review access, orientation, water and structure and tell you quickly whether the wall is straightforward or needs a different approach.

02

Design & specification

System selection, planting palette, irrigation and interface details, issued as drawings with a fixed quotation split into supply, installation and maintenance.

03

Installation

Frame, irrigation and pre-grown planting installed by our own teams to the agreed sequence, then commissioned and tested before handover.

04

Maintenance & aftercare

Planned visits from month one, with reporting to you or your managing agent and replanting cycles that keep the wall dense through year five and beyond.

03 — Maintenance

The walls we keep alive.

Every wall below is under a Life on Walls maintenance contract, including systems we did not install. Visits cover planting, irrigation performance, feed and a written condition report.

04 — Who we work with

Specified by architects, trusted by property managers.

We work as an independent specialist alongside your design team rather than as a supplier of a single product, which is why our living wall bespoke solutions are specified on projects from private courtyards to hotel façades.

05 — Straight answers

Service questions.

Do you handle both design and installation?

Yes. Most projects come to us for the full route — design, installation and then maintenance — because a single accountable team removes the gap between the drawing and the planted wall. We are equally happy to design only, or to install to another designer’s specification.

Can you take over maintenance of an existing living wall?

Frequently. We survey the existing frame and irrigation, report on what is failing and quote for remedial work plus a maintenance contract. We maintain walls we did not build, including systems from other manufacturers.

How quickly can you start?

A site review usually happens within two weeks of enquiry. Installation lead time depends on planting: pre-grown material for a bespoke palette typically needs six to twelve weeks from order.

Do you work outside London?

Yes. London and the M25 are our weekly base, and we have delivered projects in Bristol, the Home Counties and internationally. System supply ships UK-wide.
