01 — The brief

Built, planted, then kept alive.

In a private garden the wall is in view from the house constantly, so patchy coverage or a visible irrigation run would have been obvious. The work ran from scaffold and frame through to planting and the maintenance regime that followed.

The Channel Pro system and the irrigation were set out and concealed before any planting went in. Species were chosen for the garden’s aspect and for year-round structure rather than a single seasonal peak, and we have returned for scheduled maintenance since.

What we delivered

  • Living wall system installed to the garden boundary
  • Automated irrigation with concealed pipework
  • Mixed evergreen planting for year-round structure
  • Scheduled maintenance visits since installation
  • Irrigation checked and adjusted at each visit

02 — Challenge, solution, result

How it was resolved.

Challenge

The constraint

A boundary wall permanently in view from the house, where thin coverage, visible pipework or a seasonal drop-off in planting would all have been immediately noticeable.

Solution

The approach

The Channel Pro system and irrigation were set out and concealed before planting, with a mix chosen for year-round structure in the garden’s aspect.

Result

The outcome

A planted boundary that now holds dense coverage, with scheduled maintenance visits keeping the planting and the irrigation in check.
