01 — The brief
A hard structure on the guest’s first approach.
The bridge structure sat directly on the route guests take into the hotel: a large, blank surface with no planting and no obvious way to soften it. The hotel wanted greenery that would look established from the first day and continue to perform in a constrained city setting.
Our appointment covered the living wall and the irrigation behind it, so a single team was responsible for both the planted result and the system keeping it alive. Access, water supply and drainage were resolved before planting was specified.
What we delivered
- —Living wall system installed to the bridge structure
- —Zoned irrigation designed, installed and commissioned
- —Planting selected for a shaded, exposed urban aspect
- —Ongoing maintenance regime agreed at handover

Send a photograph and a rough size. We will tell you which system fits, how it would be accessed and what it costs to keep alive.
