The constraint
A boundary wall permanently in view from the house, where thin coverage, visible pipework or a seasonal drop-off in planting would all have been immediately noticeable.
01 — The brief
In a private garden the wall is in view from the house constantly, so patchy coverage or a visible irrigation run would have been obvious. The work ran from scaffold and frame through to planting and the maintenance regime that followed.
The Channel Pro frame and the irrigation were set out and concealed before any planting went in. Species were chosen for the garden’s aspect and for year-round structure rather than a single seasonal peak, and we have returned for scheduled maintenance since.
02 — Challenge, solution, result
A boundary wall permanently in view from the house, where thin coverage, visible pipework or a seasonal drop-off in planting would all have been immediately noticeable.
The Channel Pro frame and irrigation were set out and concealed before planting, with a mix chosen for year-round structure in the garden’s aspect.
A planted boundary that now holds dense coverage, with scheduled maintenance visits keeping the planting and the irrigation in check.
